Floral Mandala Design Workshop
A guided, structured approach to color, floral composition, and refined technique
with Ranoo Sabnis of Mandala Doc

I’m so excited to finally bring an in-person workshop to the East Coast, near my home town. I grew up a few miles from New Cumberland and am happy to be home and teaching my favorite painting style.
This workshop is designed a little differently from my previous classes. It will be focus on stencil based floral arrangements to help create an intentional and focused floral composition.
We’ll work on mixing a color palette, thoughtfully designed patterns and go over the techniques I use to create texture and detail to my floral mandalas.
🎨 WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Guided Color Systems
You’ll choose from 2–3 curated palette options designed specifically for this workshop. I’ll guide you through mixing your palette and creating the gradients I love to use in my work.
You’ll also have access to pre-recorded palette videos so you can revisit or try additional colorways at home.
Structured Design Approach
We’ll build your mandala step-by-step with a focus on spacing, balance, and color flow.
On Day 1, we’ll establish the center design and begin building outward with guided pattern options.
If you join for both days, we’ll expand onto a larger board with a more complex, interlocking outer design.
Refined Techniques
We’ll practice creating clean, textured florals and interlocking details, along with using color gradients to bring depth and movement to your mandala.
